The Bramble Crown was inspired by my two young boys who love to visit our local castle ruins. It gets very windy at the top of the hill so they needed something to keep their ears warm. What better than a cosy crown! I also love creating flatlay photos so I wanted the crown to be a simple piece that was beautiful yet practical; perfect as a flatlay prop, newborn photoshoot prop or a cosy crown to keep little ones warm on their adventures.

These are also perfect for reusable birthday crowns, a great alternative to one-use paper crowns and they can be easily personalised.

Crowns can be made in less than an hour making them perfect for market prep, last minute gifts or simply because your little one wants their very own Bramble Crown!

Crowns are not intended to be used as toys.

Pattern is written in standard English and uses US Terms.

Instructions for 5 sizes: Newborn (0-3months), Baby (3-6months), Infant (9-18months), Toddler (2-4yrs), Child (5+yrs)

Skills needed:
Chain
Foundation Half Double Crochet
Half Double Crochet
Half Double Crochet 2 Together

Supplies needed:
Super chunky yarn (#6 weight)
7mm, 8mm and 9mm crochet hook (depending on size being made)
Measuring tape
Darning needle
Scissors
